GlamTrotter’s Fashion Week Pre-Fall 2013 Picks

I have had a love affair with Couture since I was a little girl.  The very mention of Fashion Week would cause my heart to skip a beat and send me into daydreams for hours.  Fast forward….many years….and Couture has a similar effect on me. There is an inexplicable euphoric feeling that Fashion Week fosters, be it the fashion, the beauty and hair, or the anticipated guest list, it’s purely magical.

I am asked quite often who my favorite designers are. So I was inspired to put together my top picks from Fashion Week Pre-Fall 2013 to share with you guys.  The femininity of the silhouettes that Sarah Burton created in these Alexander McQueen picks are breathtaking, smart, and surprisingly classic.  I love the envelope that McQueen has always pushed, but this year in particular Alexander McQueen has captured my heart irrevocably.  Other designers that I have also enjoyed this season were Louis Vuitton, Jason Wu, Emilio Pucci, Carolina Herrera, Matthew Williamson, Prabal Gurung, Chloe, and BCBG Max Azria to name a handful.
